Verilox manufactures bulk control materials for point-of-care testing devices. Human matrix, ready to use, and verified lot by lot for stability and homogeneity, built for IVD manufacturers and supply chains worldwide.
Point-of-care testing has grown quickly because it produces results at the patient's side. Clinicians can act immediately, and outcomes improve when a decision no longer waits on a central laboratory.
That advantage only holds if the result is right. A POCT device is only as trustworthy as the data it generates, which is why routine quality control belongs in every point-of-care workflow, and why control material has to behave like a real sample.
Verilox produces tailored bulk controls: a cost-effective, consistent supply for IVD manufacturers who ship devices and control material together.
How POCT and its quality control work →
Human blood / serum matrix
For C-reactive protein measurement on point-of-care analysers, at levels spanning the clinical decision range.
Ready to use, no reconstitution step.

Human blood matrix
For glucose measurement on point-of-care meters and analysers, covering low, normal and elevated decision levels.
Ready to use, no reconstitution step.
Commutability, stability, homogeneity and lot-to-lot consistency are checked before release.
Human serum and blood matrix, so the control behaves on the device the way a patient sample does.
Recommended shelf life of 12 weeks for blood-based POCT CRP and POCT glucose controls, with triplicate measurement at every time point.
Each production lot is incubated one week at 37 °C and compared with reference material stored at +2 to 8 °C; a change below 20% is expected.
Random vials from every lot are tested to ISO 13528 and released against the total allowable error limits for CRP and glucose defined in the Rilibäk guideline.
Consistent target values are maintained across production lots, so results stay familiar from one delivery to the next.
Levels are set across the assay range and around the values that matter for clinical decision making.
We adjust the control to the assay it has to verify, and leave out what you do not need.
Verilox is the point-of-care quality control line of JTC Diagnosemittel GmbH, produced in Vöhl, Germany.
Every specification is tied to a measurement we perform ourselves.
Documentation and release criteria written for IVD manufacturers.
Consistent target values from one production lot to the next.
A long-term commitment to science, quality and manufacturing consistency, trusted by partners across the globe.
